It all started when...

Sora is main hero of the Kingdom Hearts Series. In the first Kingdom Hearts, his home, Destiny Islands were attacked by the heartless and took Kairi away, while Riku, his best friend, gave himself to the darkness. Sora was left alone and he woke up in a town he's never been to, Traverse Town. There his journey begins when he first meets his companions, Donald and Goofy.

With his new friends they traveled world to world saving them from the lurking evil among them. He meets up with Kairi, who was unconscious, and Riku in Hollow Bastion. There he fought Riku, who was controlled by Ansem. After defeating Riku, he wanted to restore Kairi's heart. By doing so, he had to sacrifice his own heart because Kairi's heart resided in him. Kairi awoken and he became a heartless for a short period of time. Kairi protected him from other heartless, which restored his own heart. When they go back to Traverse Town, Kairi gives him the Oathkeeper and promises her that he will give it back to her.

After saving the world from the heartless, he meets up with Riku once again, but Riku ended up being on the other side of the door. Riku was still in the darkness. Sora tells himself that he won't come back to Kairi, until he brings Riku along with him.

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Sora continues his journey with Donald and Goofy, hoping to find Riku and King Mickey (whom Donald and Goofy are looking for). He ends up in Castle Oblivion where he meets new enemies and a girl named Naminé who he later finds out was taking away his memories slowly. She replaced his memories with Kairi and included herself instead. Naminé never intended for his to happen. She was only doing what she was told, under the command of Organization XIII.

After defeating the antagonist, Marluxia on the 13th Floor, Naminé gave Sora the choice to be the way he is now, or have his memories the way they were, but he will have no memory of her. Sora chose his to have his memories back, but promises Naminé that they will meet once again. Sora then falls into deep slumber for a year and this leads the story of Kingdom Hearts II.

Sora wakes up in Kingdom Hearts II in a town called Twilight Town. He has no idea why he was there. He meets Yen Sid (a powerful sorceror) who gave Sora new clothes and new abilities along with it. He continues to find Riku and faces new enemies and battles. He finds out about Nobodies and the Organization XIII who are trying to restore Kingdom Hearts by using the hearts of every heartless that Sora defeats.

Near the ending, Sora finds out that he has a nobody named, Roxas, who he confronted in an unexplained battle, but in the ending Roxas accepted his fate as a nobody, but still lives on with Sora. Sora eventually meets up with Riku and Kairi, and together they advance to the final confrontation with Xemnas, the leader of Organization XIII. He fights along side with Riku and the world is at peace again. He finally returns to Destiny Islands and reunites with all his friends and Kairi.
