Hollow Bastion

In Kingdom Hearts, we discover that Hollow Bastion is the place where Kairi was from and also the home of the Final Fantasy characters: Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, Cid, Cloud, Tifa and the moogles. We figure this out when Sora gets a vision where young Kairi was walking around the library of Hollow Bastion and her grandmother was there.

Hollow Bastion, the castle, was all that was left when Xehanort became obssessed with the secret of the Heartless and thus brought its destruction. Malifecent ruled afterwards, when she figured out that the final keyhole resided within the castle. It then became the main headquarters of the villains and where they kept the Princesss of Hearts, during Kingdom Hearts.

Xehanort believed that a Princess of Heart could find the Keyblade Master and he sent Kairi, the Princess of Hollow Bastion to Destiny Islands.

Radiant Garden

One year later, the Final Fantasy characters moved back to Hollow Bastion with high hopes to restore their home. Aerith told Sora that Hollow Bastion was never the ruins that it is now and the place used to be like a paradise. This world's true name is Radiant Garden, and it is world that was once ruled over by Ansem the Wise.

In this world, there are also other worlds within that includes the 100 Acre Wood -- because Merlin most likely brought the enchanted book from Traverse Town -- and Space Paranoids, which is a computer world that Sora, Leon and the gang discovered in Ansem the Wise's study room.
