Twin Couples
Sora and Kairi have been duplicated! Nah, they can never be, but there are some couples out there who are very similar to Sora and Kairi. Some of them are only friends, some share a romantic relationship, some made a promise and many more. Happy reading!
Haruno Sakura & Uzumaki Naruto of Naruto
So how are these couple similar to Sora and Kairi? First off, Sakura and Naruto aren't an official couple but they've been friends since they were twelve years old. In the anime and manga, Naruto sets off to look for Sasuke who's been brought into the darkness just like Riku and Sakura felt helpless that she couldn't do anything. Two and half years later, Sakura became stronger and this time she fights along side with Naruto. Also, Naruto made a promise to Sakura that he'll bring their friend back.
Harada Riku & Niwa Daisuke of DN Angel
How can I put this? If Sora and Kairi were anime characters, they would look like Riku and Daisuke! I mean, if only Daisuke's hair wasn't red and all, but he does have the same awesome spiky hair just like Sora! Also Riku looks similar to Kairi when she had her short hair. One more thing, Daisuke can be very oblivious to a girl's feelings just like Sora.
Tifa Lockheart & Cloud Strife of Final Fantasy VII
Tifa and Cloud known each other since they were kids and even made a promise to each other when Cloud finally had the courage to talk to Tifa before he left for Soldier. Cloud and Tifa are the best of friends who would do anything for one another. Even through his toughest time, Tifa was there to take care and bring Cloud back on his two feet.
Yuna & Tidus of Final Fantasy X
For this couple, Tidus and Yuna are a pair that have been infatuated with each other since they've met. Well, okay not since they've met, but they've always had a special connection with each other. Plus their canon! *ahem* In the sequel Yuna searches out for Tidus in hopes to see him once more. Just like Kairi, she's take all the risks and downfall to be with him again.
Aeris Gainsborough & Cloud Strife of Final Fantasy VII
Kairi and Aeris' personality are similar: their both cheerful, playful/flirty and not afraid to speak their minds. Aeris always took an interest in Cloud because he reminded her of her ex, Zack. Throughout the game though, she realizes that she may liked Cloud more than Zack. Again they are similar to Sora and Kairi because they too made a promise to each other. Not similiar promises, because Cloud promised Aeris that he'll take her to an airship one day. Also, even though Aeris passed away, Cloud was happy to see her once more in the ending of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
Cagalli Yula Athha & Athrun Zala of Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny
Cagalli and Athrun's relationship is more tragic than Sora and Kairi. Well, not so tragic, but they had to be seperated for a long time during the war between the Naturals and Coordinators. They've also made what seems to be a promise, when Athrun gave Cagalli a ring, stating that they will be together after the war and when the times is right. Cagalli had a duty to her country and she had to be selfless and prolong her relationship with Athrun.
Naminé & Roxas of Kingdom Hearts II
You'd think I would forget these two? They are the most alike to Sora and Kairi, despite the fact that they are their Nobodies. They've even made a promise to each other. Plus, just like Sora and Kairi, Roxas and Naminé wanted nothing more but to see each other once more.
